Flamingo Family Restaurant has five dog-friendly tables. They gladly welcome those hiking the Appalachian Trail with their furry friends. Just a stone's throw from historical Gettysburg, Flamingo Family Restaurant serves up homestyle breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The owners, Charle and Maria, came to America from Greece in the mid-1970s, with the dream of opening their own restaurant. Twenty years later, they were living the dream at Flamingo. Their breakfast menu has a long list of egg choices, but their griddle specialties really stand out. If you're feeling famished, you can choose a gut-busting, three blueberry pancakes with butter and syrup.
