The Point, located in Olean, NY, is a casual eatery that serves up delicious Italian-style dishes with an emphasis on seafood. Fido is welcome to join you at one of their many pet-friendly outdoor tables while you enjoy your meal (pups must be leashed.) Start off with an order of the Crab Cakes - made-to-order with diced peppers and onions, fried in panko, and garnished with a roasted pepper puree. Next, chow down on the Lotus Flower Tuna - pan-seared Ahi tuna wrapped in lemon-marinated zucchini, topped with pickled ginger and agave nectar-sweetened radishes, served with an Asian red cabbage coleslaw, wasabi aioli, and balsamic reduction. Or go for the Shrimp Bruschetta Alfredo - fettuccine in cream sauce with sauteed garlic, cherry tomatoes, red onions, fresh mozzarella, grilled shrimp, roasted red pepper puree, and fresh basil. The Point is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4:30pm to 8:30pm, and Friday through Saturday from 4:30pm to 9:30pm.
