The Bayou
The pet-friendly Bayou is bringing a taste of New Orleans to Pennsylvania. Call ahead to request one of the outdoor patio tables. The menu has classic Nola cuisine and some dishes with a twist, like Curried Cauliflower and Hush Puppies with jalapeos and Chimichurri. There are sandwiches like Shrimp and Oyster Po'Boys, and small plates including Fried Frog Legs and Bayou Mac N Cheese. For entrees, there's a Crispy Cornmeal Catfish and Buttermilk Fried Chicken. For something sweet, you can try Bayou's version of the beignets, with brown sugar and Maple Crme Anglaise. Open Sunday through Thursday 11am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday 11am to 11pm.
