McMenamins Thompson Brewery & Public House

Located in a house built in 1905, this pet-friendly McMenamins location is also the first post-Prohibition brewery in Salem, Oregon. Outside there are five tables where you can dine with your dog. The menu is mostly pub fare and sandwiches with a Northwest twist and utilizing local ingredients and producers. The Uptown Veggie Grill features roasted vegetables, pesto and cheese, while the Zen Dog comes with peanut butter, bacon and Sriracha. On tap are the brewery's own creations like The Gold Whisperer and the Berry Sake Bomb. Open Sunday and Monday 11am to 10pm, Tuesday through Thursday 11am to 12am, Friday and Saturday 11am to 1am.
