  Excellent Burgers!

  Very dog friendly and family friendly place! Dogs allowed outside only, but as soon as we sat down an employee came out to bring my dog a bowl of water. Very nice staff and the burgers were delicious! Plus the ice cream was a great bonus!

  First, this place has THE BEST burgers anywhere! Plus they have Maine Root soda! The food alone will bring me back!
  Second, they have a great fenced in area outside to eat, walk, and play that was perfect for our dog! This was our first restaurant venture with our dog and it was wonderful! Safe, friendly atmosphere with lots of shade. I will bring him back the next time we are in Austin with the dog!
  We ate at the South Lamar location. Great part of Austin. (Right next to a Half Price Books!) Wonderful people!

  Loved the burgers!!

  Found Phil's Ice House with new Aussie puppy in tow - our first long outing, in fact. A little panicked to find a dog-friendly place, but this one accommodated our needs perfectly. We found a shady spot outdoors to munch the wonderful burgers, and the staff quickly and happily provided a water bowl and lots of adoration for the puppy. We'll go back - as much for the wonderful attitude as the the incredibly yummy burgers!
