Dogs are allowed to join you at Macayo's Mexican Kitchen on E Broadway Blvd, where they provide eight pet-friendly tables outside. They welcome you to try their handcrafted Mexican cuisine prepared using fresh ingredients and utilizing secret family recipes. According to the people of Macayo's, their founder, Woody Johnson, accidentally dropped a meat-filled burro into a fryer, and created the chimichanga. You can order one of their many chimichangas, such as the chimi de Macayo: beef, relleno sauce, tortilla, sour cream, rice, refried beans, and guacamole, to decide for yourself if this legend is true or not.
