Lindy's Fried Chicken

Lindy's Fried Chicken on E Lafayette Street is a dog-friendly restaurant with three outdoor tables. Ray Salis, the founder of Lindy's, began his chicken empire by serving fried chicken in the back of a bowling alley. Soon, he found that people cared more about his chicken than the bowling, so he decided to expand to his own brick and mortar store and from there, many more stores as popularity continued to grow. One of Lindy's favorites on the menu is the whole fried chicken: two wings, two breasts, two legs, and two thighs.
