The Lunch Box
The Lunch Box provides four dog-friendly tables outside. They claim to be specialists in fat and calories and prepare food with a homemade taste. Traverse magazine described one of the owners, Julie Badas, as a leather-wearin', Harley-ridin', soup-makin' genius. The menu includes lots of vegetarian sandwiches, including the Hummer, red pepper hummus, cream cheese, avocado, tomato, roasted red pepper, and fresh spinach wrapped in a low carb' wrap. Alternatively, you could get something from the beast, including the Kansas City: roast beef and cheddar cheese with tangy barbecue sauce on grilled wheat bread. The Lunch Box is open every day of the week from 7am to 2pm.

The food here is great and they have a wonderful (but small) outdoor seating area where you can hang out with your pup while you eat or drink coffee. This truly is one of the best places around here to get breakfast or lunch.
