      Love this place

      Food was fantastic. We both had “fresh fish “ - walleye - with simple sides. Our waitress, Faith, was friendly and attentive.

      LUNA’S favorite place

      The moment we sat down, the hostess got us water for our pop-up water bowl. we paid $4 for chicken (that would have been added to a salad). It was a generous amount! Luna got so many pets and attention. would recommend.

      Dog friendly

      There were lots of dogs here. They had bowels of water for dogs but didn’t offer. The food was good! But long wait, be sure to join the waitlist online, we had a long wait! Also out table was a little cramped.

      Doggo Friendly Dockside Seating

      Had a great meal outside overlooking the water. Lots of shade from umbrellas kept the dogs cool. Waitress brought dog bowl with cool fresh water for the dogs.
      Great smash burgers and a crab&lobster roll made our afternoon visit perfect. Join the waitlist via the OpenTable app and let them know you have dogs / need outside seating

      Waterfront dining with the pooch

      Mermaid has always been a family favorite and even more so after we brought our dog to Saugatuck with us for the first time. The outdoor deck is dog friendly and the staff was great and welcoming, even offering to put out a water dish without us even asking. It's a bit tight quarters so consider that if you have a large dog. Great food as always.

      Great waterfront dining and very dog friendly!

      I’ve dined twice at Mermaid, once for brunch and once for dinner. Both times the waitstaff has been very accommodating of my dog, bringing him water and seating us away from too many other guests.

      Will definitely be back every time I’m in Saugatuck!

      Outstanding Event

      Mermaid Bar was outstanding. They brought my dog a cold bowl of water. Food was great, service was excellent, outside terrace was right on the water with excellent view of the harbor. Highly recommend. Will return again.
