      Not dog friendly

      We actually were regulars to RJ Cafe but the last time we went it was a terrible experience. We brought our 14 year old well behaved Border Collie and sat outside with many other people with dogs. It was fun at first; all the dogs were excited and vocal. The guardians were social and amicable. Our dog was quiet but over the course of about 20 minutes he let out 3 rather mournful solo woofs. The assumed manager approached our table and told us if our dog barked one more time we would be told to leave. He told us “people were complaining”. We were shocked as well as all the people around us. We do not believe anyone had complained. It was embarrassing and completely uncalled for as he was probably the least disruptive dog in the group. Sadly, we will not ever return.
