Could do better
Island Inn of Atlantic BeachThis is an old-fashioned motel on the highway. Its description was inaccurate. The bathroom floor and bathtub had hairs. But, the worst part, our room was near the end by the highway - AND DOT WAS FIXING THE HIGHWAY FROM 6 PM UNTIL 2 AM with loud machinery, yelling, lights, etc. We asked to be moved but the woman in the office refused.
Baltimore blast
Hotel Revival BaltimoreGarcon, a service dog, and I were welcomed to Hotel Revival late on a Saturday night, a way stop on our way between other destinations. The room was spacious and well decorated, very cool. We had dinner upstairs in the rooftop restaurant which was beautiful and quite lively. The view was awesome. Breakfast from the hotel restaurant was good. The hotel is within easy walking distance of parks, monuments (including the first Washington monument), exquisite cathedrals, and two really good museums - the Walters Museum of Art and the Maryland Museum of History and Culture, both of which we visited on Sunday morning. Parking is a bit expensive but provided by valet. (We found a free spot on the street - unlimited because it was not a weekday). I highly recommend this hotel if you want to visit Baltimore.
