Such a gem
Historic Gray Line Asheville Trolley ToursWe were in Asheville for a day trip.
We decided to take the trolley tour and let me tell you, what a wealth of information. Also our dog was welcome with no fee.
He is a ~25lb pug. He said beside me on the bench seating by the open air windows and loved every minute of it. They also said some tour guides will point out dog friendly restaurants and activities but ours did not. Still a wonderful tour of the city. We would be happy to go again.
Wonderful
12 Bones Smokehouse RiverWe went here for a quick lunch on a day trip to Asheville. The seating was outside with some shaded areas. There were a lot of dogs there.
We had to bring our own water bowl, and some of the other dogs were very reactive. Lots of barking dogs pulling at leashes and acting up. If not for that we would have given it a 5 star review. The tacos and wings were awesome. We would go back.
Eh
Tapoco TavernLocation was gorgeous, area and drive in were so pretty. Upon arrival they seemed excited and fine with us having a dog, we sat right by the river. Partial shade for our dog. No water was offered so we ordered extra water and luckily brought our own bowl for him. The food wasn’t very good, neither of us finished our plates. And the prices were pretty high. Won’t be back. But one bone because it was beautiful and they did allow our dog.
Pretty nice
Smoky Mountain BreweryPretty nice restaurant, covered patio with fans. Also had tvs outside for the games. Food was pretty good and the server offered water for our dog. Was a nice stop for us and our dog after a long drive.
Great place!
Doe's Eat PlaceWent for a quick dinner and drinks. The outdoor seating was close to the street, but it ended up being totally fine! They immediately brought us a bowl of water for our dog, and everyone was super friendly. The catfish was amazing! Would definitely go back.
Wonderful
Molly MalonesWe had a great lunch, plenty of shade for our dog, and they brought us a bowl with ice water for our dog. Would definitely go back!
Not too shabby
Frankfort Avenue Beer Depot & SmokehouseWasn’t the worst place for our boy, only had a few dog friendly tables and the main reason they are only getting 4 bones is because the service was really slow, which was hard when it was hot with a dog outside. Still, it was nice enough!
Awesome time!
PG&Js Dog Park BarGot in for free after the pug festival, everyone was super friendly. Our dog loved just walking around and saying hello to everyone. Beers were nice for the humans. You do have to have proof of your shot records!
No problems
Auburn Place Hotel & Suites PaducahHad no problems with check in, they gave us a room on the first floor for our dog. Not allowed to leave the pet unattended in the room, so this was an issue while trying to do laundry because you also can’t walk dogs in the “public areas” so no lobby, no hallways unless leaving or coming, and no laundry rooms. My boyfriend and I had to take turns checking laundry and watching the dog. Other than that it was nice and clean, big room, and no issues!
No issues
Residence Inn by Marriott Louisville NortheastWe stayed 3 nights with our dog. You are able to leave them alone if crated. We had no issues. There were plenty of grassy areas to walk. The rooms were clean and had plenty of space.
Not the best
Gravely Brewing Co.Went there for lunch, it was 90 degrees, the patio had no shade for our dog, they didn’t offer us a bowl for water but luckily we had our own. We ordered 2 drinks then left. Not going to go back with a dog.
Super dog friendly
Saints Pizza and PubBrought us a dog bowl and gave us a shady table on the patio. Super nice staff, everyone wanted to see our pug baby.
Very good!
Best Western Shelbyville LodgeHad dog walking areas with lots of grass, they put us on the first floor since we had our dog with us. Had doggie bags for poop clean up, would stay again! Also the policy says you can leave your dog alone in the room if they are crated!
