Room smelled like cigarettes

Let me start off with the pro the room was clean except for a towel that had something yellow on it. 😐 The bad the front desk guy was gone for a half hour while I stood there waiting for him. I had just drove 11 hours and was mad tired and this dude was not even at the desk. I had already paid online for the room so wasn't going to leave. I arrived after midnight and waiting for him was not on my agenda as I needed to be up early and out the door by 8am.

The room had a no smoking sign on it and someone clearly smoked until the cows came home in it. The front desk told me that they have some sort of machine that can take the smell out. In any event the room was spotless. Could use some new towels and something more than just a bar of soap. Like everyone else, you get what you pay for. To be fair, the sign at the counter said they were gone helping another guest. I also suggest when you leave the front desk you lock your door as a guest there demonstrated how easy it is to walk back there when I was standing at the lobby waiting for the front desk person along with 5 other people.
