Greener Grass

Hampton Inn & Suites Longview North

The exterior of this property is perfect for a canine stay. Loads of green grass and open spaces to exercise.
However, the remainder of a 4 night stay was quite frustrating. This property is operating on a shoestring. At check-in I was told only one key per room despite the 2 of us checking in. One of the 2 elevators was operable and you get one towel per person. Several days in I requested clean towels. After waiting 24 hours for them to be replaced I wandered to the front desk to request again. At this point the attendant asked to have our dirty towels in return! I declined to take the one elevator back up to retrieve the dirties. They are even reusing the card folders by using whiteout to re-number them. I would recommend the nearby La Quinta. This property is more suited to buses of school children and construction workers.

Clean room & great locale

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sandy - South Salt Lake City an IHG Hotel

The property was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the carpeted stairs are worn and greasy, elevator old and beat up, and side door secure entry is non functional. Part of the ground floor was closed off ‘for remodeling’ but there was no evidence of any construction taking place. Overall we would stay again as its location is good and clean rooms and grass perimeter even though this is an old and worn property.

Nice grassy areas

Hampton Inn Rawlins

This is the first time my dog and I have ever stayed together at a Hampton Inn as they usually don’t allow pets or have a ridiculously high fee for the night. It was refreshing to have a nice room w/o paying thru the nose for it. I still give it 5 bones even though the breakfast selection was very sad. The redeeming news is there is a Taco Bell that serves breakfast at the back of the hotel parking lot. I would recommend taking the few extra steps. However, I should not fail to mention, that EllenDAussie gave the peanut butter toast two paws up.
