Met Expectations
Motel 6 Fort Worth TX - StockyardsNo frills, but a clean room. TV worked. Plenty of grass for the dogs. Very well lit exterior and friendly staff. The room fridge was not plugged in nor was it sitting in a location where it looked like it could be plugged in. Not sure what that was about, but it was for one night and we didn't complain.

Not Great
Motel 6 Wichita KSSketchy location. Run down room. Zero grass for the dogs. Needed to walk to the hotel next door.

Overall not bad
Candlewood Suites Houston Medical Center an IHG HotelPros: Clean room. Comfy bed and pillows. Air Conditioning worked fine. Great proximity to NRG CENTER. Dog friendly with sanitary receptacles outside. Cons: Pool closed (I didn’t really care anyway.) Rough neighborhood. Homeless population close by. No breakfast, but free coffee. They did sell some food items for very reasonable prices.

Econo Lodge Inn & SuitesProximity was great for the Expo Center and the staff was very accommodating. TV and cable worked. No breakfast food, only coffee. Pretty run down and shabby. I had to re-home a very large cockroach the first 15 mins in my room. They were very nice and moved me, but beware, you might have to share with the local critters. You get what you pay for.
