Best place to stay on the west side of Winnipeg

We stayed here at the start of our road trip across country and they were absolutely wonderful. No pet fees and such kind employees. On our way back (about 2am a month later), we figured we'd try another hotel just to see. Motel 8 cost an arm and a leg for a "pet friendly room" plus pet fee. Park West Inn wasn't even pet friendly. Motel 6 welcomed us back and simply told us to walk in when we got there. Never going to look for another FidoFriendly hotel if a Motel 6 is available!
