Great overall

I was worried I had gotten a hotel way too far away from attractions in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg for vacation, but it worked out well overall. This was the only hotel that maxed the pet fee at $75 for 2+ nights vs $30/night everywhere else (in June 2023).

The floors in the rooms were tile so no need to worry about accidents ruining carpets. Pet areas (though small) and pet waste cans were located on both sides of the building and emptied daily. Staircase exits can be accessed via room card from the outside so pet outings can be less public/stressful for Fido (and quieter/quicker too).

Since we got rained out, we enjoyed the indoor pool, but they also have an outdoor pool. It rained the whole week we stayed so guests at the indoor pool were a bit louder than preferred, but Mother Nature wasn’t cooperating lol.

The only bad thing that happened was our first room began leaking after a hard rainstorm, but they immediately moved us to another room so great customer service. I really wanted to participate in the continental breakfast more, but the hotel received a bus load of guests the next day. With the increase in guests the kitchen/dining area was way too small to accommodate everyone and the food items weren’t restocked quickly enough to placate the morning grumps.

Overall this was a great stay with our Fido. Mother Nature had other plans though lol
