Dogs allowed INDOORS where there's AC!
Eastern Shore Brewing CompanyWhat more could a girl ask for as she's sweating to near death? Just Kidding. This was a wonderful "retreat" from the warm sun. There's not really much you can "do" in St. Michaels with a dog, other than take in the views, window shop and eat. So, after walking up and down the main street we were hot and thirsty. Since the bar doesn't serve food, (they have "snacks" aka a bag of chips) dogs are allowed upstairs where they have air conditioning. There is a self serve water station so we were able to fill our travel bowl often. Beer was good, I will look for it locally here in VA

Salty Paws AnnapolisMax devoured his ice cream. This place does not have any human food, strickly for dogs. Would definitely go back if we lived closer.

Nice Back Patio, self-serve water
Stan & Joe's SaloonWe visited last week on a weekday around 6pm and it was not crowded. Award winning Crab soup was amazing, as was the reuben. Since it is outside, patrons are allowed to smoke. We always bring our travel water bowl so it was nice that there was a self-serve water cooler. Patio is surrounded by a high fence and patio lights, which created a nice atmosphere.

AMAZING COFFEE and tables outside
Blue Heron CoffeeQuite possibly the best coffee I've ever had, and there are two tables outside so you can enjoy your java with fido in tow. Friendly and accomodating owner. Coffee roasted right there in the shop!

Good Food, back patio with seating for dogs
Ava's Pizzeria & Wine BarEven if you don't care for tomato bisque soup, like me, you must order it. It is fantastic. As is the meatball. $5 for one large meatball but totally worth every penny. Plenty of back patio seating and a couple of outdoor seats on the sidewalk (I would not recommend, sidewalk is narrow). We walked down to Easter Shore Brewing and had a few beers while waiting for the lunch crowd to die down. Our server brought out a water bowl for Max, which was great. Covered patio provided relief from the sun. Would definitely recommend just for the fact that the outdoor patio space is large enough to accommodate multiple dogs at the same time.
