Great lodge for dogs
Red Lion Hotel Portland AirportThis hotel is in a good location for pets. There are 2 other hotels on the same site that also seem dog friendly. There are plenty of space to take your dog on walks. The only thing about this hotel is the lack of nearby food options.

Great location in the city
The Citizen Hotel Autograph CollectionThe Citizen Hotel was a very central location. Most pet friendly hotels near Sacramento seem to be north of Sacramento. The hotel is across from the Cesar Chavez Park, so we took our dog on a short walk or potty breaks around there, since there are no specific area for pet relief on the hotel site. Staff here are very friendly, my dog has gotten spoiled with a few pets and treats. The only thing that kept this hotel from receiving 5 bones is that it is part of the Marriott so you'll have to pay for Wi-Fi if you did not book with your Marriott membership. If there was a way to get free Wi-Fi in the rooms, we weren't able to figure it out on our stay. Other than that, this hotel was great!
