Frustrated

The cabins were nice and as expected, however on-site restaurant closed at 8 in the peak of summer?. We didn’t check in till 8:20 after spending the day hiking in Lake Louise and using all the time we could there due to the large crowds. Were looking forward to a relaxing dinner, drink and enjoying the cabin, but nope, restaurant closed. Cabin was also full of mosquitoes. Management had nothing on site to help. They’d also run out of shampoo and some toiletries usually common. Bed was nice. Bathroom also nice, as well as the porch - but again mosquitoes were impossible. Management should staff each cabin with sprays - so at least indoors can be insect-free. Cafe staff in morning were surprisingly rude and unhelpful. Check-in staff lamented and apologized for all my complaints with a knowing nod. Place could be great.
