Quality Inn & SuitesNot sure how this place got a 4.5 rating. It was a very sad, run-down hotel and everything was out of order - the swimming pool, “fitness” center, business office, ice maker - all on the fritz. The air conditioner in our room was on its last leg - it squeaked and rattled so loudly we could hardly sleep. And, there was no yard area for our dog - no grass, no poop bags, none of the usual amenities at “dog-friendly” hotels. Our bill for the night for this dreamy spot was a whopping $190 - this, in Clayton, NM, not a booming metropolis. Stay at the Best Western Kokopelli if you’re looking for a nice dog-friendly facility in Clayton. It has the same rating on BringFido (crazy) but actually deserves the 4.5 rating. (They were fully booked or you can bet we would have stayed there!)
