Quaint, dog park a serious plus!
Rodeway Inn Near CoachellaCurrently being updated and with new landscaping too. Decided to stay here after a long drive across New Mexico and Arizona and was hopeful about the dog park. It was as advertised/reviews. My dog especially appreciated the real turf!

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Tucson City Center AZNewly renovated and updated throughout. Room was spacious and clean. Wish there was a larger dedicated area for the dog and with turf, but at least they had one.

Great location
Econo Lodge CrestviewI was very encouraged by the preponderance of positive reviews when I made my reservation. The location is great, there are grassy areas for the dogs, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Best part was view to a spectacular sunset! Unfortunately the building is tired and needs help (e.g. the room door to the inside/outside had large gaps along the side and bottom, paint chipped and stained), and the room could have been cleaner (e.g. floor was dusty dirty - probably because of the door!).

EV charging station!
Executive InnAlthough old and in some need of repairs (e.g. door was difficult to open and close), the room was clean and had the basics. Best part for me and my plug-in hybrid was the EV charging station (J1772) in the parking lot!

Clean, quiet, safe
3 Palms Tucson North FoothillsThe building/rooms have been updated with vinyl floors (good for pets), comfy beds, new fixtures etc. Felt like a luxury hotel! It’s in Tucson so no green areas for the dog but there are public parks nearby with grassy areas, great for walking about with the pooch.

Great location, clean grassy areas
Best Western Mission InnRight off the highway and minutes from museums and shops downtown. Ours was a very spatious, updated room but unfortunately carpeted. Loved the large and CLEAN grassy areas.

Plenty of roaming areas
Best Western Dos RiosGood location right off the highway. The room was ok (walls are thin, you can hear your neighbors yawn!). Nice to take long walks around this and adjoining hotels.

Good location, would return
Extended Stay America Suites Los Angeles MonroviaThe hotel is well situated near the freeway although that means that it can be noisy if your room faces that direction. As others noted, the place is somewhat “tired” and dated but it is very well managed otherwise and clean. Several green areas for the dog and places to eat nearby with outdoor seating. I would stay here if ever in the area again.

Bare bones
Motel 6 Willcox AZThis no frills place is a super location for interstate travelers. The building is dated and there is a need of better maintenance, but the staff were friendly, room was clean, and we felt safe. Unfortunately, there was no green area for the pup, only stones that during an over 100 degree heatwave were hot enough to seriously but a pup’s paws!

Drury Inn & Suites San Antonio Northwest Medical CenterWe like staying at Drury Inns when traveling with the pup but our experience here was not the best. We arrived on a Saturday evening during the happy and the place was packed. Normally we would partake in the happy hour but it was impossible. The room was the usual clean and spacious, but there was minimal green areas for walking the pup.

Great location
Sonesta Select Boca RatonRight off I-95 but you wouldn’t know it - the hotel is located next to a quiet park-like multi-building office complex that is well landscaped with several large trees, walkways and grassy areas. There is even a ChargePoint EV charging station nearby! The hotel seems to be popular with dog owners based on the number of dogs we encountered going in and out if the hotel. The room was basic and clean. The staff were friendly.

Dog Park at Eagle Lake ParkWe were driving through town while on a road trip and Fido needed a break when we stopped by this park. It was a good choice. There are three shady fenced areas for dogs

Seven Hills SuitesLots of grassy areas for long walks with Fido. This was a big plus after a long day on the road. The hotel itself is comprised of five or six large two story motel style buildings on a large property surrounded by trees - nice. The structures are older and clearly in various stages of being renovated. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean, but the walls were thin (we could hear our neighbor’s phone conversation!) and the TV did not work properly. Being in a college town perhaps the seemingly large number of younger/student guests is to be expected, but not a problem.

Great location, very pet friendly
Drury Inn & Suites Lafayette LAWe stopped here for one night during a road trip along I-10. The location was perfect for a quick pull over. The staff were friendly, the room very clean, and food for humans was quite OK. Best part was the ample grassy areas to take the dog for long sniffy walks all around the hotel.

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Brooks City BaseThe location is good for driving to Riverwalk and other popular areas. The staff was friendly but the buildings/rooms are dated but clean. The pet relief areas were not well maintained, unfortunately. For one night it’s ok.

Good location, nice ambience
Crystal Bay HotelWe appreciate the love that has been going into keeping this historic building a working building, and the native plant garden is a nice touch. The pet friendly rooms are on the ground level with easy access to two exits. The hotel is close to a major road, which can be a little noisy if your room is close to it. Just out the door you can take a walk with the pup through safe beautiful neighborhoods. The room was clean and comfy but the A/C unit was loud. Breakfast was generous and tasty and the pup appreciated her gift treats. We’ll be back!

Good food, even for Fido!
Crabby’s Bar & GrillWe were quickly seated at an outside table with an umbrella at the front so there was plenty of space and shade for our 45 lb pup. Our lunch was very tasty but the kibbles and cream was a huge success!
