Not bad for the price
Best Western Palm Beach LakesThe BW was located conveniently off the interstate with quite a few places to eat nearby. But in the room they also had an ad called "Room Service" which offered a large menu of mostly Italian dishes and sandwiches at reasonable prices for the area. I found out when I ordered that it wasn't actually a service by BW, but another nearby place. We ordered two Philly Steak sandwiches that were quite good, loaded with meat and cheese, and delivered within the 45 minutes promised. There was a delivery fee added, which was expected.
Our room was at the back of the property away from the highway with a small dog walk area just outside our door with poop bags available and also had a fence, so It was safe area to walk our dog.
The only cons were the drain in the tub in our room did not close so my husband could not take his nightly relaxing bath. The water pressure out of the shower head was not very hard, but there was plenty of hot water. And the sheets on the bed seemed old and "pilly" (rough). Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.
Nice but old
Wingate by Wyndham Valdosta/Moody AFBIt felt like a safe location. We really like the fact that there was a high fence around the property where the dog area was and poop bags provided. There was also many eateries nearby within walking distance and an easy on-off to the interstate. But the property seemed older than expected with chips in the tub, but clean and didn't need an air freshener to cover up odors.
