Decent but loud
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham OKC North - Quail SpringsClean, new, but also very loud. Was on the first floor and could overhear way more in hallway than usual. In general soundproofing, and maybe material choices, are poor for reducing sound. Also no real curtains; just the translucent semi blocking kind. Parking lot lit up room partially all night.

Just ok
Red Roof Inn ChildressRoom had 8 dead or dying roach-looking bugs of decent size upon opening. Towels scratchy, dog area lame, lots of cigarette butts. A few more roaches found by morning moving slowly toward dying. Breakfast was yogurt from Walmart. Every other option was packaged processed items. Host was nice.

Super well-kept motel
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Santa FeThe motel by which most should be judged. Really well kept and classy property for being a motel. Decent location. Everything a little higher $ in Santa Fe but honestly once we were in the room it exceeded most similar priced hotels. Great for dogs. Could use some more grass perhaps in the dog area. A few too many rocks and gravel.
