Miscommunication

Holiday Inn & Suites Santa Maria an IHG Hotel

We and our fur baby were very happy with the stay at Holiday Inn. The people were friendly and offered any assistance we could want. BUT, there was a mixup at check in. When we arrived, they were unaware we wanted a pet room! They quickly accommodated that need. Yet, the hotel had billed my credit card for the room price in addition to pre-billing the pet fee. Luckily, I had received a text from my card company telling me that Holiday Inn had already billed my card for both the room and the pet fee.

BringFido had said I would pay the pet fee upon arriving, but since it had already been billed, I had to show the text about having been billed to the person that was taking care of checking me in. It took a little while, but he eventually found the payment record and apologized profusely for attempting to charge me again at check in. Overall, they were very nice, but I am glad I had some proof of advance payment. The gentleman said this was the first he had heard of BringFido. Anyway, it all worked out. I would have rated them 5 bones except for the confusion at check in.
