Friendly staff, horrible accommodations

Staff were all very friendly but the rooms are horrible. Not sure what they use to treat their carpet but both myself and my dog got sick. I was in town for a wedding and noticed the odd smell upon entering. Woke up the next morning to swollen eyes, face and breathing issues. Ended up being over an hour late for my brothers wedding. Had to leave the hotel early, relatives were disappointed and I have been swollen for 3 days and my dog has had stomach issues since as well. Staff at the hotel were very apologetic but said that because I booked through a third party, they couldn’t assist with a refund. Again, they were nice people, it was just the accommodations were horrible! What was supposed to be a nice family weekend turned out to be a terrible experience!
