Cute hotel, friendly service, park next door

This is a very cute older but kept up motel right on historic Route 66 and is decorated nostalgically. It's right on a busy road but there is a large area in the front that is bordered by tall hedges all around that's great for dogs, plus there is a park with a lake right next door. The area is dark at night but the motel grounds are very well lit, although I was disappointed to find the bright front lighting wasn't on all night. My dog was very happy here!
