Nice stay
Holiday Inn Santee an IHG HotelRoom was great, area to walk dog, and restaurant is open until 9:00 pm.

Perfect for us
Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk RiverfrontI really like this place. Motel style rooms for pets so park outside the door and literally right off the highway. Room to walk dog, gas station, Dunkin Doughnuts and Cracker Barrel in parking lot, Walmart and groceries a mile down the road.

Kitchen with no dishes or silverware
Extended Stay America Premier Suites Charlotte Pineville MatIt was a long drive with an active dog and an elderly cat. Kind of a drag to arrive to no luggage carts (instructed to find one on our floor). Nothing at all in the kitchen, spartan and uncomfortable furniture, and no suitcase stand.

Really nice room and attentive staff
Homewood Suites by Hilton HagerstownThe room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel has a fenced courtyard and a park next door. The area has a lot of stores and restaurants but getting from one place to another is challenging but worth it. A nice grocery store, Sams Club, Target, etc. Staff was attentive and friendly.

My Idea Of A Perfect Pet Friendly Stop
Best Western Charleston InnTraveling from Florida to Maine during COVID-19 pandemic. We would drive straight through except for the cat. Because we also have a dog and a lot of stuff, we prefer motels with exterior doors. We had a room that open to a courtyard with a picnic BBQ area. The room was fine. Beds comfortable. We checked in at 5am and were gone by noon. During the pandemic Best Western doesn’t enter a guest room for 72 hours after a guest leaves. That was reassuring. Tonight we will be getting the cat a room at a Best Western in Fredericksburg, VA.
