Would Not Book Here Again
Rosen Inn at Pointe OrlandoI was a bit disappointed in this hotel as it was not similar to what they advertised. On their website, they mentioned dog friendly rooms and dog specific areas where they can be relieved. We did not see such areas and were never informed of them at check in. The rooms were also very old and not clean. They ended up moving us out of our first room because it was not clean at all.
Our second room was much better. However, we were put on the third floor, right in between multiple rooms. On our second to last night, our neighbors complained that our dog was barking. He is not a barker but because the neighbors on our other side were so loud, he barked in defense a few times when doors were slammed. They offered to switch us to a new room for our last night, but we declined and checked out early.
It’s a bit frustrating to be at a “dog friendly” hotel but then have neighbors get mad that a dog was barking for maybe a total of 6 times max. While you probably shouldn’t book at a dog hotel if you are expecting no dog sounds, I also feel like the hotel is at fault. It’s a huge hotel. They should designate certain buildings/floors/rooms to be for dog owners, so as not to disturb their guests who do not have dogs.
Location wise, the hotel is located in a touristy area. Very convenient for night life, but expect lots of traffic. Overall, I would not book here again. I am giving them two stars because their staff and security were very nice and respectful throughout our entire stay and tried to accommodate us as much as possible under the circumstances that they could.
