Great spot!
The Salty Brigade KitchenLast night my husband and I had the pleasure of eating at The Salty Brigade Kitchen. The people were very friendly and attentive. I am in a wheelchair and most of the time we get ignored but not last night. We were treated with the utmost respect.
The food was delicious and homemade. The potato chips were unbelievable and again homemade. We went because of our dogs but it was too chilly to eat on their large patio. I highly recommend.

Residence Inn by Marriott BakersfieldWe stayed here the week before last for 6 nights. The suite was clean and beautiful. But the first morning my husband went to walk the dogs and found a homeless man sleeping out our door. We notified the front desk and later stopped in to check that the man would not be there again. No luck! He was sleeping outside our door again. After notifying the front desk again he was finally gone. Then the next night the car parked next to ours was broken into. Not a safe place.
