Good experience in Sedona
Sedona Village LodgeThe dog rooms are on the first floor of their older section. The rooms are nicely appointed, roomy and quiet. They have strict rules about no dogs on the bed or you'll be dinged on your credit card. Although there is a field adjacent to your room, they warn you about prickly weeds that can be problematic to your pup and you. They recommend an area that had a rock base.
Good Experience
Travelodge by Wyndham YermoCheck-in went smooth. Room rate didn't break the bank. Room was comfortable. When did they do away with ice buckets in lieu of plastic bags? Right off the interstate so a little noise. Nice 24-hour diner adjacent to facility. Ample area for the pup to do her thing. Would stay again if I had to be in the Mohave desert.
Monument Valley stay
Goulding's LodgeWe stayed at the new "Villas" at Goulding's. They are two bedroom modern cottages and have a full size refrigerator and kitchenette. You have a deck to sit on too. There are ample areas for you pup to take care of business. These cottages have great views of the sunrises over Monument Valley. You may read some negative reviews based on staying at the old Goulding's up the hill from these.
Less than one bone
La Quinta by Wyndham Orem University Pwy ProvoIn a very busy commercial area of Orem. Very little space in the landscaping area of the parking lot for pet walks. Rooms looked modern but you can hear conversations, foot traffic and crying infants from the confines of your room. Apparently Utah has a water issue so the tap in your sink runs about as fast as your dog pees.
Very nice
Comfort Suites Kanab National Park AreaThe Comfort Suites offer nice updated rooms and a hot breakfast at a reasonable price. Your dog has ample areas for nature calls. There are plenty of quality restaurants in the vicinity. One thing to be cautious about was the checkout; charged more for dogs. Make sure you verify the dog fees when checking out. They had the manager credit our VISA.
