My dog and I were both welcome

The motel was a little run down, but I felt welcome, and my dog was also welcome. That means a lot to me. The rates are low considering the central and convenient location, free coffee and snacks in the morning, and a very nice pool plus a treadmill and step machine. There is an in-room coffee machine, as well. Sadly, the pool needs repair and they are waiting for a part to come in. There isn't a dedicated place to walk a dog, but we still found a few bushes and grassy areas right around the hotel. I appreciated having a place to stay with no friction, and I could walk over to WalMart, Old Chicago, Dickie's BBQ, and several other useful places.
