Just ok
Red Roof Inn TerrellThe best was nice staff, good green area for the dog but it’s really not that nice of a hotel. It felt safe but just run down. It was clean enough but a fair amount of cosmetic repairs needed in the room so it looks shabby. The Shower was very good, beds and towels. Linens were fine.
However We were on first floor had no privacy curtain so had to close shades all the time with glaring overhead lighting only - refrigerator was iffy in getting cold- so overall it’s an inexpensive stop and you can tell it’s inexpensive.
Good stopover
Baymont by Wyndham RollaEasy stop on route. Basic hotel, pleasant enough nice walking loop around a large pond for dogs was the best part.
Good stop!
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Amarillo I-40 West TXWe were here one night, found our stay to be pleasant, clean, and with good grass for Zoe. We’ve stayed at the Drury before and find the country inn as good if not better - price is better, locale equal - just no dinner/drinks. We will return as we go thru Amarillo en route to Dallas with some frequency.
Disappointing
Hotel ArvonWe booked months ago - and thought this was a boutique hotel- which it technically is - however room we got is an “inside” room - ie zero outside windows much like a dark prison cell. Then- The shower looks hauntingly like a hs gym shower - just s curtain to the floor of an old tiled area -all and all very dour and disappointing. Asked to change rooms but was told they were full- and truly nothing special done for our dog, no treats no greeting , not worthy of bring Fido ratings- there is decent green space across multi lane one way road ( although it was not at all difficult to cross when we were there) . Parking fine- found free street parking right in front - which was great ( 27ft camper) and they have a coin guest laundry, which helped us as we are on a several week trip. All and all we would not return - as we were really bummed at the accommodations- and could have routed our plans differently.

Nice room!
Bally's Shreveport Casino and HotelWe were on the 6th floor a designated doggie floor, nice room easy access to (small) green space but only a quick drive to a fab dog park with a pond ( ours loves to swim!) muddy but joyous romp in summer there is apparently a dog rinsing station as well.
