Nice location
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Carpinteria an IHG HotelWould definitely recommend if you have a dog and are visiting the Santa Barbara area but don't want to pay for a SB hotel. Rooms are a nice size with plenty of space for a dog bed. We were put on the first floor right near an exit to the front that was equipped with a doggy waste bag station and grassy area. You can eat the great complimentary breakfast with your pet in the morning at a small outdoor seating area. And bonus for us -- destination EV charging!
Easy check-in/out
SureStay Hotel by Best Western FernleyStopped over on our cross country move with our 70-pound dog. This was the only hotel our entire trip that put us on the ground floor! They also had no carpets in the room, which I appreciated for cleanliness. Enough space for his crate, a table and two chairs for us to eat, and a good breakfast. Small relief area on the back side (which is where our room was). Good value.
Clean, large room
Comfort Inn Downtown Salt Lake CityStopped over on our cross country move with our 70-pound dog. Big room with enough space for his crate and they put us on the second floor with easy access to a stairwell close to an exit. Decent breakfast. No specific relief area but enough grass and bushes around that it's not a problem.
Adequate
BridgePointe Inn & SuitesStopped over on our cross country move with our 70-pound dog. Decent value for the price. Was placed in a room on the second floor and there was no elevator, so this was a little tougher having to bring in a bunch of stuff from our car, including his crate. Room was a good size. Breakfast was adequate. No pet relief area, which didn't matter to us.
Chic hotel
Claridge HouseStopped over on our cross country move with our 70-pound dog. Staff was incredibly nice. Room was nice but small -- we had to be strategic with our crate placement. No pet relief or grassy areas outside. Slightly discounted valet parking just next door ($58) but with limited staff that move pretty slowly. I personally would do again for the price and location, but others may not.
