Under Renovation!!
Super 8 by Wyndham Windsor/DougallCheck-in was seamless and friendly so I gave them an extra “bone.” Room was better than I expected -- clean and comfortable. They were currently doing renovations so there was caution tape everywhere, even in front of our room. I am certain when the renovations are complete it will be a great place to stay.
Of Note! They take a $100 damage fee on top of your room fee. I may take a few days to get credited back. I am still waiting 3 days later.
Good coffee
Best Western Southlake InnFront desk clerk was less than friendly, and though we reserved a king bed, we were given 2 doubles. Pool was “closed for the season” even though it was over 80 degrees! Morning was better… breakfast was fine, and they had decaf coffee, which gave them an extra rating.
Would not recommend
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Ballpark/GalleriaWhen travelling, check-in should be flawless and easy, but it wasn’t. The front desk clerk gave us incorrect directions to our room, then had to ask someone else where it actually was, then gave us incorrect direction regarding how to get to it. I finally had to ask for the manager (she barely acknowledged me) and ask to be assigned an appropriate room. The original clerk said she was new but had obviously not been adequately trained (felt quite sorry for her).
The room was shabby. Furniture needed replacing, the toilet paper holder was broken, and the light in the bathroom didn’t work. The dog waste garbage outside was overflowing, and the poop bag containers were empty. The only redeeming quality at this hotel was that the breakfast area was clean and bright and there were 2 waffle makers. Would not recommend staying here.
Very Welcoming
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Georgetown KYFrom the start, our stay was great. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable with a separate living area. Bed was very comfortable -- not too soft, not too hard. Nearby restaurants offer takeout. There are plenty of grassy areas around the hotel for pet relief, and the poop bags are well supplied. Breakfast was hot and good and the breakfast area is a good size and clean. The indoor pool and hot tub were a nice addition. It was a very good stay. Would absolutely look for this chain again when travelling.
Warm and Friendly
Baymont by Wyndham Ridgeland I-95The staff was great. Very friendly and efficient check-in. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. Plenty of space to walk your pet. Was provided a main floor room with easy access to the car. Breakfast was good with lots of variety. Would stay there again.
Reasonably Priced
Extended Stay America Suites Washington DC RestonWe stayed here because it was the only hotel in the area accepting dogs that wasn’t exorbitantly priced. Last year the gentleman checking us in was helpful and friendly. This year the desk clerk was surly at best. The bed was not comfortable, poor water pressure, there was a razor left in the bath room from the previous guest, so wondering how well the room was cleaned. Breakfast was minimal. If we visit DC again, I will look for something else, even if it is a bit farther away from our family in Reston.
Beautiful Hotel
TRYP by Wyndham Tallahassee North I-10 Capital CircleWe arrived just after a thunderstorm and the power had gone out. The staff worked around the crisis to find us a cleaned room and get us checked in. Really lovely decor, and spotless. Breakfast was delicious with eggs, sausage, yoghurt and even grits (for those who like that kind of thing). A few nearby grassy areas for dog walking. I would absolutely stay here again!
Good Location
Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham FindlayRight off I-75. Easy access. Walmart is close by for anything you have missed packing. Nearby park for easy pet walking. Good breakfast including mini omelets! Staff was very accommodating. There were leftover dog treats from the previous guest in the fridge; wondered about how well the fridge was cleaned - though the room was spotless.
