Not the best, not the worst
Stoney Creek Hotel Kansas City - IndependenceStoney Creek seems like it could be a great hotel — updated lobby, nice grounds, kind staff. However, the rooms were not great. From the moment we entered the room, we were instantly hit with a musty smell and when washing our hands, the water also had a weird odor, in addition to the rooms looking very little like the featured pictures. Also very difficult that there are very few dog-friendly places to eat nearby. Overall, it was fine enough, but wouldn’t go back.

Perfect Louisville Hotel
Aloft Louisville DowntownThis hotel was everything we could’ve asked for for our stay. They are incredibly dog friendly, with dogs being allowed in every space of the hotel (including bar area). The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating and the rooms are solid. The hotel is in a busier part of the city, so it was definitely a city vibe, but it was great.
