Nice park -- not a lot of shade ..

... we're from the Bay Area and not used to Sacramento heat. It's a great park but be mindful of the heat: mornings and evenings are best for running around.

Happy Dog, Happy Moms

Monterey Tides

We had such a lovely time at The Tides and in Monterey/Carmel in general. Lots of play time on the beach right outside our door, and every evening we took our dog up to Happy Hour and watched the sun set on the Pacific. Love this place.
