Remodeling
Hyatt Place TopekaWe are older and had to walk up eights flights of steps to our room. The elevator was out of service. The parking lot had huge pot holes in it. If it not had been our last stop for traveling we would have tried somewhere else. On the positive side, the room was nice except for the broken clock radio, and bed lamp and having to squeeze into the bathroom to close the door and no microwave. There is a place to walk dogs.

Nice Hotel
Econo Lodge Inn & Suites DurangoManager was super helpful. Little place on side of building to watch dogs. Continental breakfast. Security cameras in parking lot.

Great Location
Quality Inn View of Lake Powell - PageIf you get a room in the back of hotel you get the most beautiful view. A wonderful park to take your dogs walking is 5 minutes away. Lots of restaurants. Horseshoe bend, lake Powell, the Dam and Antelope tours are really close. Great food places. Buffet Breakfast with a great view. Pampered Pets of Page is 6 minutes away for boarding your sweethearts for the day.

Rooms were quiet
Best Western Plus Hill HouseNowhere to walk dogs, a few stray kittens by front door, worried for their safety. Paint was peeling in bath tub. There is not an elevator for upper floor. They charge $10 each for breakfast; we chose not to purchase it.

Great Location
Stage Coach InnFriendly staff, beautiful lobby and rooms. Good breakfast. 10 minutes to West Yellowstone entrance. Restaurant across the street called The Gusher has great pizza, chicken strips and salads. You will need cash for laundry and vending machines. The front desk will let you buy quarters and Tide pods. $2 for washer and $2 for dryer. There are several shops and restaurants within walking distance. Parking in front and back. No grassy areas though to walk the dogs by the Hotel though. Our dogs use potty pads though.

Great experience on working ranch
Heart 6 RanchThe rooms are clean. Right next to horses and husky mix sled dogs. View of river and ice capped mountains. Community room and back deck. About 6 miles to Grand Teton. Cafe across from cabin. Great food, 20% gratuity and $5 charge for takeout. No fridge or microwave in room.

Mixed feelings
Beartooth InnWe had to be moved due to massive bugs in the carpet, dead and alive, in two of the three rooms shown. We slept in our clothes. Hard to see how to get to the parking lot at night. The desk clerk tried to make it right. Their breakfast was packaged items. They do have a beautiful Veteran Memorial area in front of the hotel.

Needs work
Days Inn by Wyndham West Rapid CityBed spread was soiled, blanket had holes in it. Carpet and walls were filthy. Bathtub had hair in it. Overpowering smell of air freshener. Breakfast was disappointing and had to throw away. No place to walk dogs to potty. Close to stores and attractions.

Great Location
Comfort Suites Madison WestFriendly staff, large area for walking dogs. Easy parking, clean, comfortable beds, safe location, large breakfast room, tasty breakfast, free coffee all day. Large pool, nice fitness and laundry room, snacks and drinks available for purchase. Pizza place advertised had awesome wings (pizza we didn't care for). Would stay there again 😊

Tough access due to construction
Best Western Empire TowersStaff was friendly. Comfortable bed, clean. Small breakfast area but good food including omelets. Very quiet. Tiny area for walking dogs. We were cautious due to run down hotel/apt building by parking lot.
