Staff doesn’t care
Rocklin Park HotelThe hotel at one time was nice but needs TLC. The staff was not friendly, like they didn’t care about us and didn’t seem to care that they had run out of food, coffee, and the garbage can was overflowing with an hour left to the end of breakfast. There were police there in the morning and I had heard of this hotel having a hold up in the past (found out after I booked it). We have another stay booked at this hotel but not refundable. I am cancelling it anyway as I don’t feel comfortable staying there.

Nice people
Kimpton Alton Hotel - Fisherman's Wharf an IHG HotelIt was nice to find a hotel where our dog was welcome! No pet fee and they do not have a problem for our dog to be left in the room. They also have pet beds and bowls if needed. There is a small park within a block and a dog park within 4 blocks. The city is a hard place for our dog but I think because she was welcomed and we felt welcomed to have her that she quickly felt at home in San Francisco. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I only gave four bones as the area is not the greatest for a country dog.
