More than expected

Very nice hotel with clean rooms and nice amenities like afternoon popcorn and a very good breakfast. No grass for our dogs to go to the bathroom. Only gravel like most places in New Mexico.

Big change

Stayed here before before new owners. Much better appearance and much better amenities for dogs than now. The assembly is a great place to eat and dogs are allowed.

Yuck!

Not recommended. Zero dog amenities including no poop bags and very little grass area. Very questionable neighborhood with police sitting in parking lot. Room was very long in the tooth. We will never go back

Homeless

We thought the facility was very nice and they had amenities nice for the dog. However, when we were loading up this morning two homeless men confronted us for money!! This is not a fun environment nor comfortable to be able to walk the dog.

Yuuck

This is a place I could never recommend! The entire place stunk! Including the room. No place to walk the dog - miniature patch of grass. Room was not clean and the bed was less comfortable than the floor!! The interior decorating was obnoxious and the breakfast was powdered and packaged. Not a recommended dog friendly destination at all.

Great place

Excellent room, facility, and dog areas. Treats for dog at front desk. Excellent coffee and fresh made to order breakfast with real eggs!!! Also complimentary happy hour. One of the best places we have stayed.

Happy

Continues to make us happy. Clean fresh facility with excellent places to walk the dogs. Overall one of the better places on our trip. Also recommend Parts and Labor Brewery - good food and beer. They will can it for you to take with you on the spot!

Long in the tooth

We have stayed here before because it has an excellent area to walk or exercise the dog. Unfortunately the entire property is long in the tooth! Everything needs to be cleaned and freshened. Very poor maintenance; cigarette butts all over the ground by exit doors, there was garbage in the grass by the dog exercise area with chicken and rib bones that are dangerous for dogs. Will definitely try to find a newer place in the future.

Good but not great

Good facility and dog amenities but facility is old and outdoor maintenance still lacking - garbage in dog area and cigarette butts all over outdoors area. Breakfast buffet was weak. Room was clean and comfortable.

Dog Heaven

Very welcoming to our dog everywhere we went inside or out! Several beautiful grassy areas and pick-up bags placed in many areas. One spot was big enough to retrieve. Great room and awesome facility.

Riverside first floor room with a small patio area. Beautiful spot right by the river and a dog walk. Perfect spot and great room.

Great road trip stop

Very clean and meticulously cared for. Excellent breakfast buffet, best of our entire trip. Dogs were welcome and very comfortable. No grass for the dogs to go on but several gravel areas. Dickeys BBQ was very good as well, the dogs loved it!!

Good road stop

This was a very good overall place. Relatively new facility, had some smaller grassy area for the dogs and very accommodating staff. Room was a suite but it didn’t have a kitchenette which really helps when dog traveling with 2 labs.

Garbage dump

This place was an absolute garbage pit. As we drive up there we’re a number of “ hady” looking characters smoking and hanging around the entrance and parking lot. I went to check in and the couple ahead of me were refusing their room. They said it was awful! I asked to see the room before checking in and they had my wife and I in a Jacuzzi room that really stunk and the bed looked like it had been used on top of the sheets. There was NO dog facilities and this was the worst hotel I have ever seen!! Beware do not leave anything of value in either the room or your car. We refused the room and drove an additional hour to find a new room.

Great road stop

Wry nice motel with very nice suite room. Easy access out of first floor door to the doggy area and our two dogs loved it. Nice grassy fenced in area for the dogs and nice clean facility. My wife and I liked it and the two labs really liked it.

Not a big dog place

The hotel is terrific but not for larger dogs. Long walks to everything , park for dogs across the busy street with homeless people all over.
People were very accommodating, had a beautiful room , and the center atrium of the hotel has beautiful light shows every hour.
Highly recommend hotel but not for larger dogs like labs
