Just Okay

We knew there was heavy renovations in progress and this did not interfere with our stay. Parking here is notorious, so if you find a spot, stay there, if you move, your spot will be gone. The check-in process was pleasant and they gave us two vouchers for drinks at the bar. The staff is incredibly friendly and seem to go out of the way for the guests. There is always someone cleaning the lobby, hallways and the elevators. Little did we know this hotel is also very, very pet friendly.

The hallways smell like dog, the room, not so much. On night two we could not take the barking dog in room 608, so we called the front desk and they were aware. Ice machines are on the odd floors, I used floor 5. Plenty of ice each time I went. The daily visits from housekeeping were awesome, they to were extremely accommodating. I swear on day 3 it smelled like someone urinated in the stairwell. It is a very short walk to the beach. The room we had (have) 619, a king bed and super huge room with a tiny balcony but a killer view. The frig is small, make that tiny. For a resort being right on the beach, I could not find sand anywhere in the lobby or hallways, they have someone always cleaning.

I can not reiterate enough, the smell of dog is strong. So if you are a dog owner, you'll be in heaven. It's just an okay place to stay.
