Not on my "repeat" list

On a positive note, it was a good room rate, pet fee was as expected, and the towels seemed to be clean. But the "no unpleasant surprises" started to unravel when we arrived and they told me they didn't have our room reservation with the dogs set up. After a while, with two of them on their computer, they found the BringFido notes and they got squared away. But it didn't start out as smoothly as I would have liked.

The room was sparse at best, the TV wasn't working (batteries for the remote and retightening the many cables hanging down from it to get anything on at all). The bathtub was less than stellar as the bottom was blackened and peeling. The nearest door to the outside from our room to the parking area was an exit only because the key reader wasn't working. I guess it is a La Quinta at the end of the day but this was a less than remarkable stay in general. They DO allow dogs so that's still a plus.
