Wooferee took my dog off his leash without my permission

I had never been to the Dog Bar before but went with friends after hearing good things from them. I had a small 8lb puppy who had no recall command learned. When I got there, I stood in a little corner so my dog could acclimate. I was informed that my dog was required to be off leash and I asked her if it would be alright for me to keep him on his leash for a little bit and if not, I was more than happy to leave. She told me she knew what was best for my dog and to take my dog off his leash. After telling her I did not feel comfortable with that and stating again that I would be happy to just leave, she bent down and took his leash off. I am absolutely stunned that any dog place would employ someone who would tell people they know whats best for their dogs and do things against the owner’s wishes.
