Horrible wait, no apologies

We have been here 3 times, the first 2 without any problems. The 3rd time however was a mess. We were seated promptly around 7pm. It was busy but not full. We were meeting friends, but ordered within 10 min, just burgers and nachos, no special instructions. We waited, and waited. Every 15 min our server told us just a few more minutes. All those few more minutes turned into 1 hr. and 45 min! At no point did they apologize or offer to cover our appetizer. It was now late and we were kind of stuck. I later emailed the manager, and got no response. The food is on the high price end for the area, it's decent pub food but not worth the wait or lack of apology. We are not going back.
