Not quite adequate

Although the staff I met were all very friendly and the price cheap, this Motel 6 is *way* below average, even for a Motel 6. However, the WiFi was good and there was coffee in the office in the mornings. They checked me into the room I reserved, but I found it had not been made up, and there was no toilet paper or holder for it, and there were general repair issues. The new room they gave me had been made up, but there was no toilet paper; there was a holder for it, though. There was no soap (I always bring my own soap, just in case).

There was no blanket on the bed. The room heater worked well, so I was warm enough. The towel bar was missing, but there was a bracket on the wall for it, and holes where the other bracket had been. There was no shower mat. The curtain attachment at one end was broken, but I was able to arrange the curtain so it kept the light out. There was little room around the bed, so I had to work to avoid hitting my shins. Only once when I turned on the hot water was there any available within a minute or so. I finally found an outlet anywhere close to the desk; it was inconveniently behind the desk. I will not stay in a Motel 6 again.

Barely adequate, but cheap

I could hear the people on either side of us -- scraping chairs, TV on low, but the walls must be paper thin. The mini-fridge was noisy, too. Everything was cheap, but serviceable.

Adequate

Nothing special in terms of treatment, except that our elderly, very quiet toy poodle was not allowed to walk through the lobby. That's why they gave us a ground floor end room -- so we could enter and exit far from the entrance. The room was adequate, nothing special.
