Comfortable hotel
Best Western St. Louis InnComfortable, clean hotel. Quiet neighborhood. Nearby grass areas for your pup. Good breakfast. We would certainly stay here again.
Can't wait to stay again!
St Charles InnThis is a very nice hotel in a good location in the Garden District in New Orleans. The staff is great, and they really seem to like dogs. They make you feel very welcome. They remembered our pup's name and would call him by name whenever they saw him. The rooms are really nice and super clean, with exceptionally comfortable beds. They have secure on-site parking which is a huge plus, given how difficult parking is to come by in this part of town. Breakfast was great, and they have tables outside at which you can sit with your pup to eat your breakfast. The side street has a wide grassy area between the two lanes with sidewalk, forming a narrow park, which is a great place to potty your pup.
Good for a bed and a shower
Motel 6 Texarkana ARWe read the other reviews for this hotel after we had booked our room, and we were pretty concerned about what we were walking into. After checking in, we were somewhat pleasantly surprised. The room was basic but clean. We got a good night's sleep and a good shower. The hotel is in a convenient location for travelers. It is a basic hotel in Texarkana, TX, so set your expectations appropriately, and you will be happy.
Pleasantly Surprised
Baymont by Wyndham PrattVery nice room that was like a suite with a couch/TV area. Big and clean room. Quiet location. Our pup was very comfortable in this large room and he could really relax. Lots of grassy areas outside. Very comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfast was very good.
Pretty rough!
Motel 6 Vicksburg MSLet me first say I am not picky about hotel rooms. There is a reason the rooms here are only $44. This hotel is in pretty bad shape. You check in through what looks to be bulletproof glass. Carpet on the lobby stairs leading to the second floor is badly worn and completely missing on the second stair from the top. They gave us a smoking room, and it really smelled like cigarette smoke. This gets old pretty fast when you don't smoke yourself. The room was generally dirty - spots and stains on walls and floor, paint peeling off the ceiling, mold in the shower. My girlfriend was afraid to take a shower. We both felt kind of gross just letting the sheets touch us. It is sort of like the housekeeping and maintenance crews just gave up a decade ago, and now they just do the bare minimum, or slightly less. Bottom line: only stay here if you are absolutely desperate.
Nice Hotel
La Quinta by Wyndham Memphis DowntownGood for dogs. They have a nice grass area for pups behind the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and nice. The hotel seems to be pretty new (as of Oct, 2023). Good breakfast and the staff seems to genuinely like dogs. Conveniently located within walking distance to Beale St, FedEx Forum, and Gus's Chicken :-) I would have given this one four bones if it was a little bit lower cost.
