Not very dog friendly

The first thing we saw upon arriving at the Baymont in Greenwood, South Carolina was a Dogs Not Allowed sign in the window beside the lobby entrance. They do not allow dogs in the lobby because it is a “public area.” Our dog did stay with us in our room however. The large grassy area in back of the property closest to our room was clearly marked “No Pets Allowed.” There was a smaller grassy area in front of the property that did not have a sign, but did not have doggy bags.
