Would be great but other owners are inconsiderate

I don’t take my dog to dog parks often - I’ve heard too many horror stories. The only times I really take him are if the large dog area is empty. Today, after walking the trail, i noticed the large dog area was empty so we were going to play fetch. immediately after going in, a dog (an intact male) and it’s owner who were originally in the small dog area decided to come into the large area. I asked the other owner to please give us space. They didn’t listen. His dog wouldn’t leave mine alone and they started to fight while the other owner just stood there.
