Nice enough
Silverton Inn & SuitesMy room only had a window in the front, so it was dark. Nothing special or detrimental regarding a dog. The TV apparently (?) only uses streaming services and I couldn't find any sports (it's March Madness!!) and I ended up watching games on my computer. No room services unless you ask. I was ok with it I guess. You could tell which side of the bed gets slept on. The exterior is cute, and the furniture made it feel a bit more posh. It's right in the center of town and easy to take a street stroll. They have a restaurant but it looked too pricey to eat in the room with my dog. Not bad for a weekend getaway.
Nice view
Travelodge by Wyndham Depoe BayFirst, for the room price, it was acceptable. Add on the $25 a night for my little dog, meh. When I rolled up, two employees in hazmat tyvek were leaving, and clearly one room was getting a new mattress. Ok, stuff happens. Then I walk into my room that has the distinct smell of sewage. I just went through this at my house so I knew what I was smelling. After a couple of flushes, it was ok. I told the front desk, they did not offer anything except to plunge and give me an air freshener. Oh, and maintenance was using a chop saw all day outside my room. So that was fun. Other than THAT, the room was good, the TV was large, the bed was fine, and the fireplace really toasted up the place to beyond ambience. Overall, for the price it was okay. The view was nice, but it was noisy. Probably won't go back.
