Nice hotel but…

I had requested a 1st floor King on my reservation that was made weeks earlier. It seems they gave the 1st floor king to a person who had just checked in because he asked for it. If there was a first floor king when I requested it, it should have been held. The clerk claimed he could not change me to a 1st floor room with two queens because “I booked through a third party.” It seemed like a lesser level of service was given to me since I did not book with them directly. Other than this issue, the hotel was very nice and several people had a dog.
